Our Campaign
Vote Like a Black Feminist (VLaBF) is a Black Feminist Future (BFF) campaign that centers the needs and ideas of Black women, girls, and gender-expansive people in the electoral space. The goal is to build our power in elections and create new democratic opportunities.
The VLaBF Voter Guide is a tool for Black feminists like you to engage in the political process. This guide will provide BFF members and other Black feminists with everything they need to show up and vote. Let’s keep it real. Voting alone won't bring Black women, girls, and gender-expansive people closer to freedom. However, Black Feminist Future considers engaging with the electoral process a tool that can provide more access to resources that meet our needs for safety and support.
Voter guides can be a valuable tool for sharing information and making elections more accessible to the public, while informing voters on a variety of topics, including candidate profiles, candidate endorsements, and key issue areas they should vote for or be aware of.
The Vote Like a Black Feminist Voter Guide highlights the key issues that Black women, girls, and gender-expansive people are focusing on this election cycle, considering the current political conditions and their impact on our vote.
